Wild & Wonderful Supperclub with Flat Earth X Jessie Ferments

A wild and wonderful supperclub featuring Flat Earth X Jessie Ferments, in association with Urban Food Fortnight.

We create pizzas using organic flour and local, fermented, pickled and foraged toppings, only using ingredients with integrity and working with people and companies who reflect our views. Veg comes from Growing Communites, flour from E5 Bakehouse, cheese from Neal's Yard Dairy.

Jessie Ferments is a local fermenter who is involved with Made in Hackney as well as providing us with our show stopping Hawaiian Fire Water (Flat Earth's version of the pizza chilli oil). 

Jessie and Flat Earth will work together to make unique and exclusive meat-free pizzas. Foraged ingredients from in and around London, fermented, pickled and transformed into tasty and unique pizza toppings and salad dressings. Come along for a relaxed and fun evening!

This will be hosted at our semi-permanent home, The Hive - an organic wine bar selling a range of biodynamic and natural wines.

Blackberry brine shot with a Fix8 kombucha fizz (vegan)



Jessie’s foraged sea lettuce & elder caper focaccia with pickles and dips (vegan)



Wild mushroom & Neal’s Yard Stichleton, green garlic béchamel base


Jessie’s rock samphire, Neal’s Yard cheddar, caramelised red onion base


BBQ tempeh, fermented tomato bombs, vegan cheese, organic tomato base (vegan)



Haggerston apple and pickle slaw with a Live English Red Wine Cult Vinegar dressing (vegan)



Chocolate brownie, preserved lemon posset & Jessie’s elderberry syrup (vegan)

All pizzas can be made vegan.

Jessie and Flat Earth will be there to discuss all things pickles and pizza!





What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Bethnal Green tube is a 10 minutes walk away; Cambridge Heath station is a 3 minute walk away from Flat Earth (and got to via a direct 5 min train from Liverpool Street).

What can I bring into the event?

Just yourselves, an open mind and empty stomach! Please note, it is not BYOB but there are amazing natural and organic wines to be purchased on the night.

What if I'm vegan or gluten-free?

Vegan is no problem (just drop us an email to let us know). Gluten free is a bit tricker as we use flour in the kitchen but we do have a GF base from Rana’s Bakery. Again, please get in touch to discuss.

Come and join us for a special RADIKON natural wine tasting combined with nourishing food and enriching conversations on Friday 12th July from 7pm at The Hive.

Radikon, a winery located in Oslavia, in the north-east of Italy (close to the Slovenian border pioneered the movement towards natural and orange wines. When the late Stanko Radikon first started working with a local indigenous grape variety called Ribolla Gialla, he soon decided that it needs to be treated differently to reach its full potential. This has mainly been achieved through prolonged skin contact, a method of vinification already used by Stanko's grandfather. Combined with long periods of barrel and bottle ageing, a truly unique taste is achieved as well as a robustness which allowed Radikon to entirely eliminate the use of sulfites. All Radikon wines are now created in this way. The result is unusual orange and red wine with astronomical complexity, high ageing potential and deep, wild, flavours.

We are going to taste three incredible Radikon wines with you - Jakot, 2009 // Ribolla Gialla, 2010 // Slatnik, 2017.

Each ticket includes one pizza, made on the night and baked in a pizza oven at the venue.

  • Vegetarian option: Wildes 5 cheese pizza with pickled Essex samphire on a caramelised onion passata base

  • Vegan option: Pickled rainbow carrot & lemon nut yoghurt on a Sesame, olive oil and thyme base garnished with wild leaves
